It is a privilege and an honor to be the Headteacher at Penarth Group School., taking on this exciting position as from April 2022.
On behalf of the young people, staff, and Governors, I welcome you to Penarth Group School. We are a small independent provision, which promotes a unique, and inclusive environment where young people can achieve. I am so proud to be Head of this caring community of learners with a fantastic highly skilled, motivated, resourceful and committed staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and happy, engaged young people.
Selecting a school for your child is a daunting process and I realise how important it is to feel trust in the people that care for your child each day. Each of our staff is highly dedicated and will always go the extra mile to ensure that every child is valued, listen to, inspired, and engaged. This is achieved through having high expectations, for every one of our students and ensuring our creative and forward-thinking curriculum, is adapted to meet each of our student’s needs. We strongly believe that we can inspire every student to excel in whatever they choose to do in their future. This allows our students to leave Penarth Group School, as confident, ambitious and independent young people.
We believe that education is about the entire child, their well-being and enrichment as well as their academic achievement. Over the last couple of years, we have worked as a team to enhance the academic success, curriculum, our pastoral support system and there is still more to come! We would love you to be a part of our journey as we strive for our school to be an outstanding educational provision, which creates an inactive environment, which supports our young people to be the best that they can be, both at Penarth Group School and beyond.
